Living in Bolzano Novarese
A small municipality between two larger ones
Bolzano Novarese is the smallest municipality in the atlas by area, 3.3 km², south of the lake between Gozzano and Ameno. According to Wikipedia it was merged into Gozzano from 1928 to 1947. It has 1,128 residents (ISTAT, 1 January 2025; 2026 estimate: 1,110).
Its centre is at 409 m, 119 m above the lake and 1.3 km from the shore as the crow flies. The lake is not at your door: for the water and the boats you head towards Gozzano or Lagna.
